All VPS.org servers include network-level DDoS protection at no extra cost. Our infrastructure automatically detects and mitigates volumetric attacks, SYN floods, and UDP amplification attacks. For advanced protection, we offer enhanced mitigation that can handle attacks up to 1 Tbps.

We provide encryption both in transit and at rest. All network traffic is protected with TLS 1.3, and free SSL certificates are included via Let's Encrypt. Storage volumes use AES-256 encryption to protect your data at rest. SSH access uses key-based authentication by default.

Yes. Every VPS includes a configurable firewall that you can manage from your control panel or via our API. You can create rules to allow or block traffic by port, protocol, and IP address. Default rules block all incoming traffic except SSH, HTTP, and HTTPS.

Yes. Our infrastructure is monitored around the clock by automated systems that detect anomalies, intrusion attempts, and performance issues. If a threat is detected, our security team is alerted immediately and can respond within minutes.

All backups are encrypted with AES-256 and stored in a separate physical location from your VPS. Automated backups run daily and are retained for 7 days. You can also create instant encrypted snapshots at any time from your control panel.

Yes. You can create private networks between your VPS instances that are completely isolated from the public internet. Private network traffic is free, encrypted, and never leaves our data center. This is ideal for database servers and internal APIs.

If we detect a compromised server, we immediately isolate it from the network and notify you. Our support team can help you investigate, restore from a clean backup, and harden your server against future attacks. We also provide post-incident reports.

Our servers include fail2ban pre-configured to block brute-force SSH attempts. After multiple failed login attempts, the offending IP is automatically banned. You can also enable two-factor authentication for your VPS.org account and use SSH key-only authentication.

Our OS images are regularly updated with the latest security patches. You have full control over when to apply updates to your running server. We send security advisories when critical patches are available and provide one-click update options through the control panel.

Yes. You are welcome to perform security assessments and penetration tests on your own VPS instances. We ask that you notify us in advance so our monitoring systems don't flag your testing as an attack. For infrastructure-level audits, contact our security team.
