Tlhaloso

EasyPanel is a server control panel. It runs on Docker and gives you a web interface to deploy applications, databases and more than 750 open-source services on your own server, without writing the Docker setup by hand.

With the VPS.org one-click option, EasyPanel is installed automatically on a fresh Ubuntu 22.04 server the first time it boots. The installer sets up Docker, initialises Docker Swarm and starts the panel. In our own test the setup page was ready about three and a half minutes after the server booted, and it came back by itself after a reboot.

EasyPanel needs at least 2 GB of RAM. 4 GB is recommended if you plan to run real applications on the same server.

1. Choose Deploy on this page. The checkout preselects Ubuntu 22.04 and a plan with at least 2 GB of RAM.
2. Wait about 3 to 5 minutes after the server is created while EasyPanel installs.
3. Open the setup page in your browser and create your admin account straight away:
http://YOUR_SERVER_IP:3000
Until you create that account, anyone who opens the page can claim the panel.

To follow the install over SSH:
tail -f /var/log/easypanel-install.log
docker service ls

Ports: EasyPanel serves the panel and your apps on ports 80 and 443, so do not install another web server on the same machine.

Domains and HTTPS: point a domain at the server and set it as the panel domain in EasyPanel's settings. EasyPanel handles SSL certificates automatically.

Updates: EasyPanel updates itself. There is nothing to maintain on the VPS.org side.
